Leadership and Management Training

Qualification programmes for forward-thinking leaders and managers

Leaders at every level need to be confident and effective, and it doesn’t always come naturally. With our help you’ll become a much better manager, a leader to reckon with, someone with the confidence, flair and knowledge to continually reflect on their performance, deliver change and make improvements. The same goes for organisations – with our help the sky is the limit.

Leadership and management training

Are you a born leader? Probably not. Very few of us are. If your workplace is going through change, or is planning change, will you be leading or just reacting to it? Is your team motivated and excited? We believe learning and leadership are impossible to separate. With the right learning opportunities everyone can become a better leader and manager.

Our range of qualification programmes is designed to support excellence at work. As you’d expect, we’re an approved centre for Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and AMSPAR/City & Guilds qualifications. Which means you get the best, and nothing but the best.

Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) training programmes

We offer Leadership and Management qualifications at Level 3 (supervisory), Level 5 (operational) and Level 7 (strategic).

Leadership and Management Training - ILM Accredited Leadership and Management Programme

Our excellent leadership and management qualifications help people develop the skills, knowledge and abilities required for success. If you’re leading a team for the first time or about to take a new senior management role, ILM’s innovative qualifications let you fast-track progress and create bespoke programmes to meet your specific needs.

Coaching and Mentoring Training - ILM Coaching and Mentoring Qualification Programmes

Great coaching and mentoring skills are essential and offer tangible business benefits. You’ll probably find yourself using them every single day in one form or another. Our Level 5 Certificate programme helps you assess and develop your skills both conceptually and practically, for real world success.

  • You benefit from better communication and interpersonal skills
  • You can expect increased confidence and motivation
  • Your conflict resolution skills will improve, as will your overall management performance

Qualification programmes designed for Primary Care

We contextualise our ILM programmes for the primary healthcare sector. Our programmes are designed specifically for GP and Dental Practice Managers, but they’re also ideal for other primary care managers and leaders, both clinical and non-clinical.

Our generic management qualification is awarded by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). Recognised internationally, it’s a highly effective development programme including plenty of wholly relevant, up to date workshop content. We also provide AMSPAR / City & Guilds Certificates and Diplomas in Primary Care and Health Management training.

Working with the voluntary and other sectors

We work closely with a variety of voluntary and public sector organisations as well as primary care. They tend to come with similar challenges and needs. Previous clients include the RSPCA, for whom we carried out a full programme of leadership and management development training at national level, Age UK, the Bobath Centre and Legal & General.

We have used Syder & Young to deliver training for staff at all levels. Staff that have attended their training courses found the trainers to be professional and knowledgeable. They are fantastic and we would highly recommend them.
